For Ms. Nikki, music is at the core of who she is. Her name (Nicole Chantal) even means Song Leader! It’s in her blood. Nikki’s mother, grandfather, and great grandfather were all clarinet players. She started playing clarinet in 1997 and performed in bands for 11 years, as well as becoming captain of the colorguard at Colleyville Heritage her senior year of high school. In 2009, Nikki graduated from the University of Oklahoma with her Bachelor’s in Music and an emphasis in Business. After college, Nikki was able to use her skills in music and business to launch herself in the promotional products industry where she was named a PPAI Rising Star in 2013. A desire to balance more time with her family led Nikki to make her mark as a mamaprenuer as she formed her own promotional products company in 2015, giving her the flexibility to get back to her roots in music as a Kindermusik teacher! It’s always been obvious to Nikki how much music is integral to early development, and that’s what brought Nikki to bring her two sweet kiddos, Emilia and Luca, to Kindermusik. Luca was struggling with his speech and cognitive skills, and Kindermusik made such an impact in all of his areas of development! Watching her two kids flourish in their music classes inspired Nikki to join the team at Rojas School of Music, where she is able to bring her passion and skills for music to others.
